Eep, I don't know. The characters are Mandarin speakers but there might be a bit of Cantonese for the food.

No prob! I will watch the movie soon and try to see what I can catch, and check the fic out as well. I can help with the Mandarin, and for Canto I could probably ask my mom, but my pronunciation is really terrible =(.

Finally watched the movie! Also realized why I got so confused... the fic says Wil speaks Canto for a bit, but in the movie, everything's basically in Mainland-accented Mandarin with a few bits in Shanghainese.

But yes, I can definitely do the Mandarin for you, and hopefully without too much of a terrible accent. I suspect the food terms will remain in Canto because it's dim sum, and I will try and ask my mom about those. Eh, just warning that my accent is terrible!

Hello, I am sorry to let you know I haven't recorded this yet and probably won't get to it in time for this challenge. :( I really appreciate your offer to help (and going to the trouble of watching the movie) though. I still hope I can record it another time.
