Reader: [personal profile] susan_voight

Fandom: Elementary

Relationship/Characters: Gen; Sherlock Holmes, Joan Watson.

Author's summary: Holmes sets out to discover what will best irritate his father; Watson helps.

Content notes: no standard notes apply. Author's rating: general audiences.

Length: 4 minutes, 49 seconds.

Download or Stream: at the Archive of Our Own (to reduce time spent fighting linkrot). If AO3 is down, check out my reader page at the audiofic archive or my Google Drive.

Reader's note: I have a shiny new mic, and this was the perfect fun short thing to try it out with.

Feedback and constructive criticism: better than a particularly ugly sweater. In plaid.

Also, a much older story that I forgot to post here:

Story: Jigsaw (AO3, author's site) by [personal profile] dira

Reader: [personal profile] susan_voight

Fandom: Stargate SG-1

Author's summary: Jack wakes up in the SGC to the news that his team is dead. If he weren't hearing the news from General Hammond he might not believe it--and even so it's not quite real until he sees the bodies. Once he does, he knows nothing is ever going to be the same again.

Sam wakes up in the SGC to the news that she is now the senior member of SG-1. Jack O'Neill is dead. For Sam and her team, nothing is ever going to be the same again.

SG-1 might be able to go on like this--Sam's going to keep her team together if it kills her--but a man who's lost his team is capable of anything, and Jack's about to do the unthinkable to make things right.

Content notes: Daniel/Jack/Sam/Teal'c and various subsets thereof. Contains major character deaths and brief thoughts of suicide; no other standard notes apply. Author's rating: teen and up.

Length: 07:31:06.

Links: download the full podfic from Dropbox as a 291 MB zip file of seven MP3s or as a single 307 MB M4B podbook. (The podbook's chapters are automatically set at every 30 minutes; they do not correspond to text chapters, as the story has none.)

Stream a sample at my journal or AO3.

Reader's note: I love this story and I wanted the challenge of a really long fic. This may have been more challenge than I really needed, but six months later, I still love the story, so it was probably worth it. :)

The cover art is by [livejournal.com profile] milanthruil and is used by permission. The instrumental snippet for section breaks is from "Devotion" by Tracy Chapman, part of the author's playlist for this story; it's available at Amazon and iTunes.

Feedback and constructive criticism: adored in all possible universes.
